For all those folks who've been wondering what I was doing standing under the fig tree late into the night. Who were wondering what those bright white flashes of light were about.
I used two SB600s. One flash was camera right below pointed at bat at 85mm zoom. The other almost exactly under the bat, closer to the bat at 50mm. Both at 1/8 power. 1/60, f10 (I think).

I drove them both using the D70 popup flash.
Oh yeah I should also mention, I triggered this by hand.
